Fun Photo Competition

I had been entering some photos in a fun 24 hours live photo competition on Facebook - I didn't win anything, but it was fun taking part - I have put some samples below.  The competition was held over 24 hours with a new competition being held on the hour every hour and the challenge was to take a suitable photo for the subject given, and post it to the competition page within the hour - right through the night!!  Mind you, as I need my sleep, I didn't take part overnight, but plenty of people did!

This was for the subject 'coffee time' - coffee time is a time for reflection

This was for the subject 'view from my window' - greenfinch having his breakfast

This was for the subject 'framed' to win Polaroid sunglasses - Polaroid, you've been framed!

Another Photo Competition

Wish me luck everyone!!  I have entered the following photos into the Countryfile photo competition on the BBC.  I really don't think I have a chance but, as they say, you've got to be in it to win it!!!

Photo Competition

I am just SO chuffed!!  I submitted the photo of a squirrel that you can see here as one of my entries to the local Gala Day Photo Competition - their first one ever - and it won!!  I was given a rosette, a £20 gift voucher and two bottles of wine. Roll on next year so that I can have another go!!

This cheeky chappie won me the competition!!

Photobox Competition Update

The results of the competition are this Friday (17th). I'm just thrilled to have been short-listed from thousands and thousands of entries and don't think I have a hope of winning, but it sure would be great if I did!! This is the picture they chose:

The funny thing is that I wasn't even going to enter this one - it was a last-minute decision!! Even if it doesn't win, it will be included in a Guinness World Record for the largest photo book ever that will be on display in London in October. I took the photo in Langkawi in 2008.
