Daniel Laidlaw, VC

After a much-awaited trip to the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh, yesterday to see the Fascinating Mummies Exhibition, I also took the opportunity to visit part of the Museum dedicated to wartime, particularly to see the exhibition of medals belonging to Daniel Laidlaw VC, who was one of my relatives.
