Happy New Year!!

Well, I've not been into this for a long time - last year in fact - so I thought I'd better just put up a quick post to wish all my readers (not that there will be that many) a Happy New Year!!  This year we are planning to visit Madeira in May and then back to Luxor in September, so hopefully all will go to plan, especially with the Luxor holiday as we're due to travel in the same month that the elections are meant to be taking place.  Fingers crossed that there will be no more demonstrations.  In fact, we've been there so often, I think we should be allowed to vote!!
